About Us

The Kirkfield & District Historical Society (KDHS) was established in 2005 by a dedicated group who found there was community interest in our local history. By 2007, a temporary museum location was set up, and in 2009, the society moved to the back room of the then St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (now The Olde Kirk). In 2010, the society gained full ownership of this magnificent building. The museum continues to be work in progress as the Society works to preserve the building and raise the funds necessary to do so. Interested in volunteering or donating? Please contact us!

Events

At The Olde Kirk, we have had some great events happen already this year and have more exciting events scheduled for the second half of 2024. Our goal is to encourage people to join us, have a great time, engage with others, and enjoy the music, entertainment and special presentations. These events  serve as fundraisers to support the operational expenses of The Olde Kirk. Most all events are offered with “admission by donations”.

Rent The Olde Kirk!

The Great Hall features “state of the art” sound and lighting systems. With seating for 134 guests, a large stage area and specially prepared backdrop for videos and presentations, The Great Hall is perfect for your next large event!
