History living

Home of the Kirkfield & District Historical Society

In August of 1829, a ship left Greenock, Scotland carrying 176 passengers with a hunger for a new life. They arrived in a place they would name Kirkfield. The building they eventually built is still here, still standing, still the heart of this community.
