The Olde Kirk offers two complementary rental spaces — available separately or together. Both carry the quiet dignity of a 120-year-old heritage building, paired with modern amenities.
The Great Hall
Capacity: up to 134 guests
Soaring timber arches, original stained glass windows, and a great north arch that has watched over the community for more than a century. The Great Hall is The Olde Kirk at its most dramatic — and most accommodating.
Outfitted with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, a large stage area, and a professionally prepared backdrop for presentations and video, the Hall is equipped for events that deserve a stage worthy of them.

The Lady MacKenzie Room
Capacity: up to 50 guests
A bright, welcoming room with modern finishes — named in memory of Margaret Merry Mackenzie, wife of Sir William Mackenzie, one of Kirkfield’s most celebrated sons. The Lady Mackenzie Room is warm, well-lit, and entirely adaptable.
Ideal for smaller gatherings that call for intimacy: showers, birthday luncheons, seminars, workshops, or a gathering of minds.

- The Olde Kirk is a heritage building. We ask that all renters treat it with the care it deserves.
- The building is non-smoking throughout.
- Events involving alcohol require prior discussion and appropriate arrangements.
- Renters are responsible for leaving the space as they found it. A post-event cleaning fee may apply for large events.
- Cancellation policy: please contact us as early as possible if your plans change. We will work with you where we can.
- KDHS membership discount applies at time of booking — please indicate your membership when enquiring.
